Robert Peterson

Robert Peterson is a marching arts visual educator and drill writer based out of Mesa, Arizona. He has spent the past decade teaching and designing for various high school programs from Arizona and New Jersey. Robert currently serves as the visual caption head at Mountain Ridge High School in Glendale, AZ. During the WGI season Robert serves as the drill writer and visual caption head for the WGI open class percussion group Breakthrough Indoor. Robert marched at The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps in 2014 and 2015 and has been teaching DCI groups since his age-out. Since 2020 Robert has worked at The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps and currently serves as the assistant visual caption manager.

Outside of the marching arts, Robert is a performing trombonist and low brass educator around the valley. He recently graduated from Arizona State University, earning himself the degree of Masters of Music in Performance Pedagogy. Prior to his graduate studies, Robert was an elementary music teacher in New Jersey.
