Marching Band Start-Up Day
Student/Parent Meeting – Saturday, May 16th at 9:00 AM
We are looking forward to seeing you this weekend at our Student/Parent meeting on May 16th! Due to Covid-19 and social distancing in place, we are planning on holding this event via Zoom, which will be our primary meeting and learning platform until we are able to meet in person. Mr. Vogel emailed all current and future students the direct links, meeting IDs and passwords to each Zoom meeting and rehearsal. If you have not received this important information, please email Mr. Vogel at firstname.lastname@example.org with your student’s name and ID number. Thank you!
The Student/Parent Meeting will be via Zoom and is for all Marching Band members and at least one parent. Please make arrangements to attend this very important meeting, as Mr. Vogel will be going through the expectations of the program, the handbook, the fall rehearsal and performance schedule, procedures and information, and answering questions.
Start-Up Day – Date TBD
As soon as we are permitted to meet in person, the season will officially kick-off with our Marching Band Start-Up Day. All incoming freshmen as well as continuing band students are required to attend along with at least one parent. Events include:
- Instrument Check-Out
- Show Music
- Marching Basics
- Parent Volunteer Training
- Student / Parent Meeting
- Bar-B-Que Mixer for Students and Parents
