Ashley Schmit – Guard Caption Head

Ashley Schmit has been a part of the colorguard community for over 18 years and is entering her 3rd year as the Colorguard Caption Head at Mountain Ridge High School. As a performer, she marched with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps, the Arizona Academy Drum and Bugle Corps, FeniX Independent World Winterguard, Entity Winterguard,  Oasis Winterguard, eXaltation Winterguard, Arizona Academy Winterguard,  ASU Marching Band, and the Agua Fria Marching Band. She has 12 years of teaching experience. She has taught at Agua Fria High School, Millennium High School, Mesquite High School, Verrado High School, Desert Vista High School, FeniX Independent A and FeniX Independent World. She has held leadership positions on the WGAZ Board as the WGAZ Secretary and has dedicated many years to the colorguard community.
