Brandyn Leverage

Brandyn Leverage is entering his first year teaching as the Band/Choir director at Hillcrest Middle School, that feeds into Mountain Ridge and Sandra Day O’Connor. He graduated from Northern Arizona University in December 2021 with a double major of Instrumental Music Education and Clarinet Performance. He graduated High School from Mountain Ridge and is very proud to be back working with the band.
He completed his student teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District at Mountain Ridge High School with Aaron Vogel and Terramar Academy of the Arts with Kimberly Terrell. Brandyn is a woodwind specialist that gives lessons through Desert Ridge Music Academy.
Throughout high school and college, Brandyn was actively involved in leadership positions and performed in a variety of multiple ensembles. He has performed with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, NAU Wind Symphony/Orchestra and currently plays with the Glendale Community College community band. He works with the Mountain Ridge Pride of the West band with everything from visual marching to musical playing.
